When I began writing this book, my dream was to create something collaborative, organic, and thoughtful. What I came to realize is that all of these ideals require time, patience, and space. With this at heart, I decided to take this past year to edit, rewrite, and wrestle with the pages that formed one chapter at a time. The result is a book that I’m so excited to reintroduce to a community that I’ve grown to love, value, and trust.
Design Does is now titled Designing Hope. And while the book’s heart remains the same as before, it seeks to have an even more clarified focus on the theme that was woven throughout the text, hope. In short, if you create things for others (you do), this book is for you.
I sincerely hope you will read, enjoy, and share this book.
